This litter is another co-breeding with Contender Retrievers. It is a fantastic pedigree with some of the most prominent chocolate labradors from the field trial game. Rip is an AKC Master Hunter owned by Sean Downey (Blackhawk Ridge Retrievers) and is sired by FC AFC Carolina's Smoke on the Water. His mother is sired by FC AFC Cool Fuel! The pedigree boasts some great chocolate and black (chocolate factored dogs)!

Cricket is a great producer for the Conteder Retrievers program. She is a 54lb black female that is very sweet and social, but has a very driven working attitude making her an exceptional wild pheasant hunter in Iowa on a private hunting preserve. She has produced puppies previously that have made great family dogs for active, dedicated owners and certainly phenomenal gun dogs!

Both dogs have OFA certified hips and elbows, eyes have passed OFA exams at one point and the only genetic condition where puppies could be a carrier would be CNM. No puppies will be affected! Carrier status simply means they carry it genetically but will not be affected. If a carrier is bred, it must be bred to a clear dog.

Pups will be $2000
Non-refundable deposit to reserve is $500

Stud owner will have first pick of litter.

Tentative expected due date is April 30, which means puppies go home late June. Perfect summer timing!
